Actually, the console way is not inferior. The console way insures that a player is actually a good player.
If a player could nitpick at a list of matches to choose from, they would never play on the maps they are not good at, which means that their rank is useless. A COD4 player who is only good at the maps Countdown and Vacant wold only play those maps since they can choose only those from a list, and their real skill would never be tested.

Its because GTA 4 is an open world game with so much going on that it couldnt possibly render Killzone 2 quality graphics. Killzone 2 has nothing but linear environemts to worry about, while GTA has much more ambiance, A.I. routines and orders, and sheer objects on screen interacting with each other. Not to mention the size of GTA 4 is much, much bigger than Killzone 2.
Anyone who only has PSN will never, ever realize how great cross game chat is until they use it on live. To tell you the truth, 90% of the time im talking for hours to people that are not playing the same game as me. Hell, i even have a friend that signs into Xbox Live just to talk to his friends like me, but sits at his computer messing around with G-mod and playing Half-Life 2 Deathmatch while he talks to us. Not possible on PSN.

actually, this not "wayyyy" before the Halo trilogy, Halo: Reach actually takes place just before the very first Halo, Halo: Combat Evolved.
Halo Reach is about the human colony-planet Reach getting destroyed by the Covenant. When this happens, one human ship, The Pillar of Autumn(carring the Master Chief), escapes by making a blind lightspeed jump into space to avoid capture. When The Pillar of Autumn comes out of its blind jump, thats where the first Halo game starts....

Yea well you probably havent read the novels either, or if i asked, you probably wouldnt be able to explain hardly anything i asked you about the story. Only the people who dont really understand it dont appreciate it. Thats ok though, it is the video game world you cant expect the same kind of intelligence you get from the film world.
Its absolutely hilarious that fanboys are celebrating Uncharted 2's 9.5 on IGN, stating that it is legit and is deserved, then ferociously compares it to Halo ODST's 9.0, stating that IGN only gave it a high review score to please the "bots" and calling it a flop. Not to mention ODST is not a full blown sequel, and fanboys still defensively compare it to Uncharted 2, which is a full sequel.
The story to the Halo series is amazing. Its a space opera story, and is becoming as deep as the star wars universe. Compelling music from Marty O'Donnell just like John Williams. Epic story that has multiple, intertwining characters, just like the star wars films. Unique and beautiful artistic design, just like star wars.
